If the other NFL owners OK the sale of the Minnesota Vikings to Reggie Fowler, he will be the first African American owner in NFL history. Do your thing brother.
If Fowler does get the nod, I hope he gets rid of Randy Moss. I can't stand Moss. I bet something will come up and they'll choose someone else. I hope not, though. :)
YAY!! I was going to blog about this but since you already have I don't need to. I was so happy when I heard the news my hubby and I applauded in our living room. This is the one thing we talk about often, so i'm so glad it finally manifested. We wondered why the Bill Cosby's, Oprahs, or other wealthy celebrities never bought a team. So now one has. Amen to that brother! Great post!
I hope they approve the sale to Fowler. Most news stories I read show that the other dude who's interested may get it because he has more dough than Fowler. We'll see who wins this one...
*duh* why does there have to be approval of a purchase, I never did understand that. If you have the money and the resources, what difference would it really make?
